AUGUSTIKNOW: Founder of OSA

The Order of Saint Augustine(OSA) that bears the name of Saint Augustine was not founded by the saint himself. Saint Dominic and Saint Francis both founded their respective Orders but that is not the same with the Augustinians. It was the Holy See (through Pope Alexander IV) who moved for the unification of various hermit groups in the Tuscan region of Italy into a single religious order that will live the spirituality and the religious ideals of the great Bishop of Hippo.
