San Agustin Center of Studies (SACS) in Quezon City is the Province’s major formation house. SACS houses the: 1) Saint Thomas of Villanova Hall (STVH) for college aspirants and postulants and the 2) Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Hall (SNTH) for the Simply Professed Friars. In June 1996, the Saint Thomas of Villanova Institute (STVI) was inaugurated. STVI is the Province’s institute of philosophy. Apart from the Province’s college aspirants and postulants, STVI likewise welcomes college student-seminarians from other pious unions and religious congregations near Quezon City as well as from the Augustinian Vicariate of the Orient.
SACS was officially accepted as a house of the Order on March 1, 1984. The buildings (Santa Monica Hall and Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Hall and the refectories) were solemnly blessed on November 13, 1984. In June 1996, the STVI and STVH buildings were solemnly blessed and inaugurated.
