The Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) granted the Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod’s (CSA-Bacolod) Nursing Program a Level III accreditation status as recommended by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU).
The decision was made during the board meeting of the FAAP on September 28, 2021, and the school was informed of the decision on October 1, 2021, through a letter addressed to the president of the school, Rev. Fr. Arnel Dizon, OSA.
Fr. Dizon, on the same day, broke the news to the school community as a wonderful gift and recognized with gratitude the people who worked for the program especially for their selfless efforts and diligent work in achieving this honor for the school.
Meanwhile, CSA-Bacolod is the first and only school to be granted accreditation for the program in the city.
According to the Dean of the College of Health and Allied Professions, Jo Ann A. Flores, PhD, RN, the nursing program showed that it met more than the minimum standards set by CHED. Moreover, the accreditation highlights the quality of education programs they offer to the stakeholders.
The accreditation is only valid until May 2025.
Congratulations Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod!
