DSWD issues license to PADO as auxiliary resource agency

On October 13, 2021, the Philippine Augustinians Development Office Inc. (PADO) was issued a License to Operate as Auxiliary Resource Agency by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Field Office VII.  The approval for the license to operate was acquired after having submitted the documentary requirements and getting a favorable result of the licensing assessment.

With the license PADO has enhanced its accountability and transparency in its operational and financial systems in preparation for its application with the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC). The license also makes PADO eligible to receive technical support from DSWD, membership to the network of registered Social Welfare Agencies called ABSNET, and avail of DSWD’s programs for its registered agencies.

PADO is the technical support arm of the Augustinian Province of Santo Nino de Cebu – Philippines in resource mobilization and technical assistance in program conceptualization, and property development planning to help achieve its mission in serving the people of God through its apostolates.
