Vicariate of Indonesia elects new council members

The Vicariate of Indonesia has elected its new council members during their 3rd Vicarial Chapter that was held from September 6 until 11, 2021.

The new council members are Fr. John Richard Jempormase, OSA, Fr. Bernardus wos Baru, OSA, Br. Wempi Yansoni, OSA and Fr. Markus Malar, OSA.

Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Jan Pieter Fatem, OSA remains as the Regional Vicar.

Fr. Hilarius Soro, OSA is the new Vicariate Treasurer and Fr. Paulis Wilem Ulipi, OSA as the Vicariate Secretary.

The 6-day chapter was held in Oriestom Bay Hotel, Maokwari Papua-Barat, Indonesia.

The Vicariate of Christus Totus Papua was originally affiliated to the Dutch Province but was later transferred to the Province of Sto. Niño de Cebu in 2019 during the General Chapter of Order of Saint Augustine in Rome.
